  I'm a little bias because I'm LDS (Mormon) but I've been to many LDS churches, and the people are not always warm and welcoming as they are usually busy trying to get there on time with their families.. ie: toddlers who would rather not dress up, but stay in play clothes all day snuggling, snacking, and watching cartoons. Often times, these parents are holding down a job AND volunteer teaching a class every Sunday for no pay. Many of these same adults at this particular ward house, are also attending school full time. So when you walk in for the first few times, they may not notice you someone new. Don't be offended. Most would LOVE to welcome you if they just realized you were new there between taking Katy potty before she has an accident, and disciplining Jonny for pulling Suzie's pony tails and remembering to get pencils and calk for the class of 12 yr olds that are ready for an entertaining lesson. Feel free to join them and ask what is the best class for you to attend, and they will either help you find one, or direct you to someone who can help you better.
